In the beginning of March this year, Ray Black and his Dad Tim Black, drove down to the Lightning Light factory in Edgewater, Florida to pick up their new Mini Cup body. Ray lives in Florida and races in the Florida Mini Cup Series.
The Lightning Light factory is only a few miles from their home and they decided to have Randy Burris, the plant manager, assemble and install the new “light weight” body with a fresh window and spoiler package.
We shot a few pictures when they came by the factory to show the quick install. The bodies are available as standard in black or white gelcoat, they do not require any paint or body work. Custom color gelcoats are also available along with optional colors such as red, yellow, blue, silver and orange for $100 extra.
